What does an Ethan Allen designer do?

Simple answer: everything! Our designers work tirelessly to help solve any issues no matter how big or how small. They’re here for you every step of the way whether they’re working from the Design Center or the client’s own front room. They will stay by your side from the moment you walk into the Design Center until everything is exactly where it needs to be.

Can you be more specific?

Our designer’s job is to make their clients happy so what they do is entirely up to the client, they can have as much involvement as little as the client would like. Whether you have a very clear idea of a certain table you need or absolutely no idea at all, the Ethan Allen designers will be right there.

How do I know the designer will "get" my style?

Firstly, you can check out your local Design Center’s online page and explore the designer’s portfolio and find one which corresponds nicely to your taste. All of our designers are very talented and varied and love to collaborate on all sorts of diverse projects.

Whether you have a precise personal vision already or a vague idea, our designers will listen and help to whatever extent you would like. Whatever it is you're wanting, our designers will work with you until you’re confident that it’s just the way you want it!
